Right now, I’m a Physical Therapist Assistant. I passed a tough national exam (you have to score at least a 600 and I got 640 or 680 out of 800), and I have been working as a PTA for 6 months. My first year of college at the University of Oklahoma earned me a 3.65 GPA. The national exam I took was nothing like the course work I studied to become a PTA. I left feeling like I didn’t answer a single question right. Also, I only made a 23 or 24 on my ACT. I feel like I’m not very smart genetically speaking, but when given the proper material I easily become an expert. So… I was thinking… am I smart enough to become a Registered Nurse (the 4 year version, not the 2 year) or a Physician’s Assistant? I’m considering both.
