Children are one of the most precious gifts that any parent can receive. However, there are often many moments during the toddler years that challenge parents, especially the potty training years. Three simple tips that can help any parent teach their child are: never push a child until they are ready, put them on the potty before and after each bath time, and do not underestimate how helpful other siblings can be. We have all heard the stories about how difficult it can be to potty train a toddler, but if you follow these simple tips you can have a diaper free toddler in no time at all.

Most parents wish for a child that is potty trained by the age of 18 months. Unfortunately, not many of the parents’ wishes come true. Parents need to recognize that all children are different and that they will be potty trained, but when they are ready. Forcing a child only discourages them, and causes potty training to take longer than it should. Gradually introducing new tactics like putting them on the potty before and after each bath time, can help them slowly become diaper free with as little frustration as possible.

Slowly introducing your toddler to the potty, takes away any fear that they may have. Putting a child on the potty before and after each bath time gets them in a routine and helps them feel comfortable on the potty. Some children are scared of the thought, so by starting them on a routine, you can help them go without even realizing it. Most children involuntarily go for the first time, especially if they are used to sitting on the potty before and after each bath. Do not get frustrated, just be patient. They may surprise you before the next bath.

Another helpful idea is to have your toddler sit on the potty every time their older sibling sits on the toilet. A toddler tends to have a smaller bladder than its older siblings; so the more they sit on the potty the less likely they are to have an accident. Toddlers also love to imitate older siblings, so if they see them going they think that they can also do the same. Older siblings can also be very encouraging for them. They want to see them succeed just as much as you do.

As you can probably tell by now, potty training is a slow process but it does not have to be a frustrating one. By utilizing the older siblings, being patient, and using repetition, potty training can be successful with little ease. Remember how precious they are and when that day finally comes you will be that proud parent that everyone is envious of.
mint tin favors

Though women have been breastfeeding since the beginning of time, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it is effortless. Breastfeeding is consider best for babies but mothers should learn the proper ways of initiating it. It’s a good idea to try breastfeeding at the hospital. There are professionals that can give some advices and if you have access to a lactation consultant, that can be a big help.

The first thing your baby has to learn is how to latch on. It may take some trial and error. And don’t worry if it takes several tries to get it right. Anyway, your baby won’t starve because he is born with energy stores to get him through the learning phase of nursing.

While some women and babies thrive on the nursing process, too many women feel too much guilt if they end up switching to bottle feeding. There comes a point for some women that the pain, frustration, and all the happy times missed out on because of difficult nursing simply outweigh the advantages of trying to stick with it. And if that happens, then bottle feeding may be the best choice.

Mothers that find difficulty in breastfeeding end up using bottle feeding for their babies. Though bottle feeding is widely used, breastfeeding is still the best. However if inevitable you need to stop breastfeeding, choose the best infant formula for your baby. See to it that all the nutrients are present and also observe proper ways of feeding your baby. Remember, as a mother we need to be very meticulous when it comes to our baby’s nutrition.
sell surplus wedding goods
